This unique Little Venice House London project won The Daily Telegraph British Homes – Best Interior Design in 2011. The scheme was an extensive refurbishment of a redundant furniture store in a Victorian coach house and dilapidated, glass roofed workshop behind.
The Coach House was retained and carefully refurbished to provide a double height bedroom suite complete with dressing area and bathroom, while the utilitarian workshop to the rear was demolished and replaced with a triple height living space. Ground level leads through a hydraulically operated door into the garden outside, a basement media room borrows light via a structural glass floor.
Our award winning residential architects worked closely with garden designer Chris Moss to make a seamless blend of interior to the small walled garden outside.
