Thursday 7 July, James Wells Architects won their first award at the Sussex Heritage Trust Awards 2016.

The award was given to our design for Stones, Bignor a new build house of 4,000 sq ft in the South Downs National Park .

The replacement home was designed in 2014 with the construction being completed by Nicholls Countryside Construction in Spring 2015. The Sussex Heritage Trust rewards the highest quality conservation, restoration and good design of newly built projects while encouraging the use of traditional skills and crafts.

“It’s heartening to receive recognition for our design skills, particularly from such a highly regarded Sussex Charity which was established to improve and encourage the appreciation of the architectural and natural heritage of Sussex.”
