The owner of this North London two bedroom townhouse invited our team to deliver a full architectural refurbishment of this tightly planned and elegant contemporary home.

Working within the fabric of the original building, the team created a scheme which stripped back the house to the bones and completely remodelled and refitted the interior. Space was carved to create a kitchen, sitting room, study and two bedrooms with en-suite above. Beautiful bespoke joinery was designed to fit seamlessly into the new interior, all built and finished to a high standard.

Our design for Highgate House consciously referenced the original 1960s architectural design in form, material use and detailing, while the modest floor area available necessitated clever use of space.

Whether we are brought onto a project for an architectural refurbishment or something more complex, we are committed to considering the detailed requirements of all our clients, with our guiding principle being to design buildings and spaces which complement and enhance their locations, paying attention to the immediate environment, landscape and history of the locality – while carefully considering all opportunities of the site itself.
