Having purchased the property from Modern House, the owner was keen to create a tightly planned and elegant contemporary townhouse.
Working within the fabric of the original building, the team created a scheme which stripped back the house to the bones and completely refitted the interior. Space was carved to create a kitchen, sitting room, study and two bedrooms with en-suite above. Beautiful bespoke joinery was designed to fit seamlessly into the new interior all built and finished to a high standard.
The design for Highgate House consciously referenced the original 1960s architectural design in form, material use and detailing, while the modest floor area available necessitated clever use of space.
