Having purchased the property from Modern House, the owner was keen to create a tightly planned and elegant contemporary townhouse.
Working within the fabric of the original building, the team created a scheme which stripped back the house to the bones and completely refitted the interior. Space was carved to create a kitchen, sitting room, study and two bedrooms with en-suite above. Beautiful bespoke joinery was designed to fit seamlessly into the new interior all built and finished to a high standard.
The design consciously references the original 1960s architectural design in form, material use and detailing, while the modest floor area available necessitated clever use of space.
